Optimize Gamers? Are you in or out?

For a while now, I've been out researching and having discussions around town about launching a new interface and digital interactive program. The problem is I need a brand, agency or distributor as a platform to launch this new exciting product.

My idea is to optimize the domestic US market, then target Europe and Asia. Especially Asia! Their gaming market is expected to top  the $bil mark (as mentioned in my India Booming article a couple of weeks ago). With the economy now even reaching the untouchable Saudi Arabs and sacred land Dubai (reported by Businessweek 12.3.08), budgets are scarce, but an investor is always looking to capitalize on certified ROI.
My new concept and interface will be a new US product, which will be created in the US by Americans as a new tool in the gaming interactive industry. Cost effective, environmentally friendly and an ROI for the vendor and brands. What do you think President Elect Obama?
Who do I go to? Propaganda GEM? Davie Brown? EA, Sony? IGA? Massive Inc?? I'll be contacting everyone soon, once I put my business model, strategy and proposal together.
STAY POSTED!

Forget Georgia, the Russians want GOLF!!

In Russian, 4etblpe pronouned "Shepperia" Means Four!!

Yes folks, not that even one Russian is on the PGA Tour, the Professional Golfers Association is building a golf course on the resort of Bolshoye Zavidovo. Along with the 7,300 yard course, there will be 9-hole course for a PGA golf academy to build awareness and growth of Golf in Russia. The resort is close to the capital, Moscow.

Way to go PGA Tour! (I know, I rag on one my favorite sports associations all the time). The average high temperature in the old Kremlin for Summer is 74 degrees. During the middle of PGA Tour season, might I add. I'm assuming these 3 months, the Russians to be PGA Tour players, will be training intensely? Because Golf is so very well suited for an intense training program.. COME ON!

I've never tried to swing a golf club with my Russian attire on, but I can tell you, it can't be any easier. I've seen some bad investments in my time, but wasn't the PGA tour complaining last month about decreasing revenue due to the economy? What are those folks up to?!?

Q & A Is this a good expansion program, if so, why? If not why?

I'm Sold!

Great collaboration!

THR reports that Tecate (Heineken) and Full Throttle (Coke) are going to offer rebates for the De La Hoya fight this Saturday. A very simple promotion that utilizes target marketing. A majority of the viewership will be Latin American males, who drink Tecate, so in these tough economic times, HBO, Coke and Heineken are collaborating to ease the burden to this focused demographic.

Let's face it, $54.95 is a hell of a lot for a PPV event. I'm not going to pay for it, instead I will try to share the cost with my neighbor and friends. I for one do not drink Tecate or Full Throttle, but this weekend, I'll be knocking back the old Mexican Cerveza in order to receive the rebate! Great promotion!!

Optimize, optimize!!

Watch out EB Games, Best Buy, the GOP version of convenient stores is going to take some of your customers!

Brandweek reported that 7 Eleven will begin selling video games as of Nov 20, in approx 5,660 locations around the country. The concept to grab revenue from the core consumers by adding value to the store, is great. This will work. A good way to optimize your target demographic.

Your stoned, high, or maybe just feel the need for a "big gulp," and at the same time, you can purchase your favorite video game. Maybe I'm stereotyping. I can honestly count on my hand how many times I've walked into a 7 Eleven and bought something. I'm obviously the minority.

I'm interested in seeing the marketing for this section in the aisle, also one thing that randomly comes to mind; are they going to be more prone to robberies? Am I wrong to make this assumption? Aren't 7 Eleven's always getting Robbed? Anyway, great idea, it will be profitable.
